Receipt Definition
In this
document, we will go over how to update the receipt that prints out for every
transaction. You can add return policies and other information that will print
at the top and bottom of your receipt in this section. If you run into issues

Prerequisites: The user
permissions to define Cash Register Categories is required to define receipts.

***Note*** Any changes made in this section will affect all receipts
inside of sportsman.
Receipt Definition
To
begin navigate to Define>Cash Register>Receipt Definition as shown
below.
Once
the ‘Receipt Definition’ screen populates you will see that there are
different sections that can be changed, Receipt width, Sender email,
and Receipt Format.
Receipt
Width: In this section, you can change the
width of how the receipt will print. Most will stay at 45 by default for a
receipt roll that is 80mm.
Sender
Email: Here you can put in an email that
will be automatically put into the ‘from’ section when you email a
receipt. This is a system-wide setting so whatever email you put will affect
every user.
Receipt
Format: In this section, you have two areas
you can change, the header and the footer. You can put whatever text you want
in these sections. However, be careful not to delete the footer code unless you
really don’t want those to show on the bottom of the receipt.
