Choosing a Registration Method

There are 5 different methods to choose from when creating your up your activities for registration. It is very important that you choose the correct method when setting up your registrations. Below we will go through each method, and help you understand when you would select each one.

You cannot set up an Activity without selecting a Registration Method as shown below and you cannot change a method once the activity is defined.

Youth Sports

This method is great for managing, and creating teams for your youth sporting events. Unlike the Adult Sports method you, as the coordinator, control the registrations and organize the teams and coaches.  This method allows you to ensure the teams are fair, and evenly matched for any sporting event.

Programs

This method is a great option for setting up classes or daily events. (yoga, after school events, art class, day camps etc.) With this method, you have the options to limit the number of patrons per-class and schedule out multiple days a week.

Team/Adult Sports

This method is the opposite of the youth sports method. If you use this option, the captain of each team coordinates and organizes the teams for registrations. You will not have to worry about assigning players to teams yourself.

Swimming

This method is great for setting up multiple swimming lessons and levels. If you have a swimming pool, we highly recommend using this method instead of the program’s method for reporting, and better organizational purposes.

Time Slots

This method is great for creating single or multiple time slot registrations. Unlike the programs method, the time slots will help you organize rooms and areas of your center by hour increments.  (meeting rooms, racquetball courts, tennis courts, skating rinks, etc.)
