Viewing financial account information

 

Sportsman provides a great place for your patron account information.  Understanding where to view, edit and add that information is vital to the success of your programs. 

This document will go over:

·         How to get to the Member/Patron information

·         Viewing financial history information including charges, adjustments and payments.

 

Click on Look Up to search the customer by name or any other identifier and click View Financial Details for Current Individual

You will see the financial history for this customer.  At the top of the screen there are different view options. 

·         You can view All charges or just the Outstanding ones or search by a date range.

·         There’s options to show voided sales and/or hide deleted sales that have been refunded

·         You can see transactions for just an individual or you can view all transactions in the family group.

There are different view tabs across the screen.

·         The Charge View is the default screen and the one used most often.

·         The Receipt Summary shows a summary of the receipts with the time of sale

·         The Receipt View screen shows the receipt detail

 

When viewing the tab ‘Receipt View’ the bottom the receipt is the date and time of sale, the receipt number, User ID for the person who processed the sale. (e.g. ADMIN, and the till number ex. 1314).  This information is useful for record keeping and trouble shooting.

·         There are options to Print or Email the receipt. 

·         See how payments were applied:  brings up the Financial Activity Detail Report to view more details of the sale.

·         Print a check request:  prints a form if a refund check needs to be issued by finance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Payment List Tab: You can view the history of payments that have been made on the account. You have the option to print this out for a customer if requested.
