Showing Patron Pictures on the ActivityReg Account
Screen
As an option, you can show the
patron’s profile picture on the account screen of the ActivityReg patron
registration website. The account
screen is only visible if they are logged in.
You may also allow the patron to upload a new picture if they like which
will replace the existing profile picture. The upload feature is a sub-option
to displaying the picture.
Due to intensity of data transfer,
this is a Cloud Hosted feature only.
Tip: Some facilities may find it optimal to
display the picture but not allow customers to change it if they are using it
for admittance purposes. In that
scenario, it could be possible for patrons to change the picture and lend their
pass card/keyfob to any other patron.
Prerequisites: This feature works with the Core and
ActivityReg modules, it does not require Membership.

Enabling the Account Pictures Option
From the Sportsman application,
navigate to File>
Administration>Site Configuration and then the ‘Internet’ tab. On the tab, select the ActivityReg Options panel.
Show Membership
Pictures On Account Screen: When checked the member’s picture
appears in the Account Information Box on the Account Page of ActivityReg.
Allow Users To Upload A Picture: When checked, users
can upload a picture.
Uploading
a New Picture on the ActivityReg Account Screen
Once a patron has logged into your
ActivityReg website and navigating to their ‘Account’
tab, clicking on the [Add Picture]
button presents the upload screen where users simply drag an image to the
upload region or press the [+Image]
button.
If the customer is using a mobile
device, they can access their camera or photo gallery in real-time.
If the photo selected contains
multiple faces, the user will be presented with a list of faces found to select
the correct one. Face recognition
technology will assure the photo is actually a face.
Once a patron uploads a picture it
can be seen immediately from the Sportsman application by simply viewing the
patron’s photo in the individual information screen.
Deleting a Patron Picture
Patrons cannot delete their own
pictures from their ActivityReg Account, however Sportsman users with
administrative permissions can delete a photo from the Individual Information
screen within Sportsman desktop application and Sportsman Web.
