Time Slots for
Activities - Daily Pass Fee Option
The Daily Fee Option for fee pricing for
Activity time slots allows you to specify multiple fee options to present to
the user during the registration process.
The classic example is Adult, Child, Senior, etc. Effectively this gives Sportsman the ability to
issue tickets with different pricing. Remember that time slots registrations can
provide admittance QR codes and also can be linked for use with a Membership
card swipe.
Prerequisites: In order for you to be able to create
the time slots you will need to have access to the Define Activities feature.

Understanding
Multiple Registration Mode and Single Registration Mode for Activity Time Slots
When choosing the multiple registration mode,
the person making the registration in-house or on ActivityReg gets prompted
with options to enter the quantities to purchase at each Daily Pass Pricing
option.
In single mode, the person making the
registration must choose only one option.
In both cases, the transaction is a
single registration potentially representing multiple slots in a given time
slot. If QR code functionality is
enabled, only one QR code is issued for the multiple registration case. This said, if a party is planning on coming
in separately, then multiple registrations should be made, one representing
each entering party. In the case of
single registration mode, this is a mute point as each
registration only contains one time slot reservation and would have its own QR
code for entry. Both of these cases are
fully support on ActivityReg for online registration.
QR codes will show the quantity and
type of pass(es) on it and will be displayed on the admittance screen.
Entering
Day Pass Fees in Tables
Day Pass Fees are all held in the table at File>Maintain Tables>Cash
Register>Day Passes.
It is good practice to set up your pass fees in advance and just apply
them at the activity level, however you can add new day pass fees during the
process of defining your activity.
To add new fees from the ‘Daily Pass’ table by clicking the [Add] button. You can add descriptions, options and assign
a GL account all on the ‘Add/Edit Daily Pass’
screen.
Defining
Activity Time Slots with Daily Pass Fee Option
When defining the time slot, select
the ‘Walkup Fees’ tab and then
select the Day Pass Fees radio
button as the Walkup Fee Strategy.
Note: At this time there is no way to define the
internet (ActivityReg) options for Daily Pass Fees independently from in-house
fees. You must use the same as in-house
option.
Choose
your fees and additional options described below.
Applicable Daily Pass Fees: Simply add daily pass fees to list using the [Add]
button. The cost of this is determined
by the amount defined in the Daily Fee definition. This means that if you later
change a daily fee price, it will automatically be updated.
Allow Member Registration Option At – If selected an option
will be added that says member at the price specified (usually zero $). If a quantity is specified during the
registration process, Sportsman automatically checks for member status to allow
the selection. If only certain
memberships qualify, use the Privilege in Restrict
Registration section on the Registration
tab.
