This section covers the core Sportsman functionality of defining an facility and then helping patrons reserve those facilities and linking those facilities to activities. You can also learn how to cancel reservations and run facility reservation reports. Please note that Sportsman uses the term "defining" to mean settting up and establishing parameters of a feature such as an activity, facility or rental.
Before getting started you will need to have your 'site' or database configured and your software set up with integrated equipment, Sportsman users, your GL codes and one or more cash registers defined. See the Installation & Configuration documentation on the prior menu for more information on those items.
To begin entering your facilities for reservation you will want to understand how the Sportsman Facility Hierarchy works, understand individual and block reservation methods. You may also want to have general or facility level Waivers established and understand billing methods. These topics are covered in the Defining Facilities tab to the left.
Once you have a basic understanding and information entered you can begin to add specific facilities and learn about making reservations including Block Reservations on the tabs to the left.
