Application Updates
Frequent updates are issued for the Sportsman desktop application. These updates include new features and enhancements for your licensed modules. It is important to stay up to date with your software application. When you sign into Sportsman you will be prompted automatically if there are any new updates. Please note that updates to Sportsman Web do not require any action.
To check for desktop application updates navigate to: File > Administration > Application Updates > Check for Application Updates.

Sportsman Desktop Installation Files
This section covers physical installation of the software on workstations and on a local server (not necessary if hosted by Peak Software Cloud). It also covers the basic system configuration necessary to get the software up and running including setting up hardware.

Workstation Installation
Every computer that runs the Sportsman Desktop Application (whether locally hosted or Cloud hosted) will need the SQL Client installed.

Supported Hardware Guides and Drivers
Below are instructions for setting up the peripheral hardware supported by Sportsman. The Sportsman Desktop Application and Sportsman Web integrate with various devices including cash drawers, receipt printers, credit card swipers/chip readers, web cameras for member photos, barcode/QR code scanners for entry, entry keypads and other automated entry controls. Sportsman Web Hardware Service
If you want to use Hardware such as receipt printers, cash drawers and credit card readers with Sportsman Web you will need to install any specific hardware drivers on the device that will be accessing Sportsman Web. Next you will need to run a small program as a service that will help you configure your devices to use with Sportman Web. Third, you will then configure each device in the Sportsman Web Workstation Config utility.
